The late George Sawchuk placed this piece in Wacky Woods, near Fanny Bay, as a social statement. It does not matter whether we agree or disagree, but it does matter that we think about the statement.

I believe that reality is not black or white. I was taught that white is the presence of all colours mixed together and that black is the absence of any colours. It is how we see situations oursselves, whether we mix the colour to be vibrant reds or to be drab greys. Our reality is within us; what we believe, what we think and what we do. I want to keep looking for the rich vibrant colour mixes.
