Airport Shuttle
As was last week’s photo, today’s photo is of enjoying the travel to where you are going. In Freetown, Sierra Leone the airport is located across the bay, quite a trip from town. The options are a long car ride, or the helicopter shuttle. The helicopters are old, retired Russian military units. One sits on benches along each side, with the luggage piled at your feet down the centre of the helicopter. Quite an exciting ride.

There have been at least two incidents of these helicopters crashing during the shuttle. On one of these crashes a large number of the Togo soccer team were aboard, and were lost.
